A date you can't forget if you tried! On Thursday May 5, attend our City Gate Camp "Open House" from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Wisconsin Avenue Baptist Church on Tenley Circle at Alton Place.
This is your chance to check out our site, see pictures and displays from last year — and meet campers from last year, as well as our new 2005 summer camp directors, Lucy Wakiaga and Kathy Fairchild. Lucy is a schoolteacher and graduate student at Howard University; Kathy is in a dual graduate degree program at American University and Wesley Theological Seminary.
We invite you to drop in for refreshments and camp information during our Open House, and to talk with our directors. A registration table will be open and for this day only the $25 registration fee will be waived for any camper who pays the first week's camp fee (whether registering for one week or the whole summer).
