WHAT IS OUR "Urban Hands Bungee Jump?"

OK, it’s just a really good 60 minute webinar with our Executive Director, Lynn Bergfalk. But if you’ve done mission trips, you have figured out several ways that the adventure of a mission trip is like a bungee jump (you’ll have to sign up for the webinar to find out the connection between mission trips and the ultimate bungee jump of all time).

What we can tell you is that this webinar will jump off from the present into the past decade, and we will share with you:

  • The four most powerful insights we have learned from working with approximately 500 groups who have come to DC.

  • What are the four keys to a mission trip that truly will impact both the lives of your mission team and of those you serve?

We’re going to structure two parts of a bungee jump into this webinar in a unique way.

First part - “On the way down” through the past ten years, we’ll share the core insights that we have found to be critical to effective and even transformational mission experiences for you and the community you serve. Second part - “On the way back up” there will be a process where you can identify and share back with us the most important insights and lessons YOU have learned from your own mission trip experiences.

Who should register for the webinar? It will be especially helpful for pastors, church staff, and mission group leaders, but anyone who has been a participant on a mission trip is welcome to jump in and join us. In fact, City Gate is very interested in the valuable perspectives that every participant has from mission experiences.
